No stall too small!
Whether you’re studying or working in that part of Downtown, you’ve probably walked past this place dozens of times without giving a single glance to it. Kamiya Sushi has been there a LONG time (judging from the menus and use of neon), and it’s your typical hole in the wall family owned joint.Since I caught a case of the mid morning lazies, and didn’t want to walk far, I decided to give it a shot.
For 5.99, I ordered the Katsu Don. I was thinking to myself, “Wow, what a fantastic deal!”, but little did I know…lol
They actually give you a pretty skimpy portion, so I guess you get what you pay for. The Katsu was very nice and crispy on the outside, though a little heavy handed on the katsu sauce. The egg retained some of its texture and wasn’t overly watery from the onions, so it was good!
-Portions are kind of on the small side
Closing Comments: After reading up on what others have said online, I guess I’ll try their ramen or sushi next time
[EDIT]: The restaurant, although under same ownership and management, I think, has now changed the name of the restaurant to Sushi Library
